The Deluxe King Room was pretty spacious, clean, and well-decorated. I enjoyed having a nice seating area and the bed was decent, though a bit too firm for my taste. The only downside was the thin walls. I could hear conversations from neighboring rooms quite easily, which was a bit distracting at times.

I had a lovely stay with a spacious, clean room featuring comfortable amenities and a nice breakfast buffet. However, the lack of hot water in the bathroom and a slightly musty smell in the room were areas that could be improved. Overall, it's a great spot for families.

The Blue Gate Garden Inn was a pleasant stay with friendly staff and comfortable accommodations. The breakfast buffet had a variety of delicious hot options like eggs, sausage, and French toast bake, ensuring a filling start to the day. The indoor pool and hot tub offered a relaxing way to unwind after a long day of work. Additionally, the hotel's location near local attractions made it convenient for business purposes.
The lack of elevators to some rooms made access a bit challenging.

We love Blue Gate! This was our 3rd stay, and it's always wonderful! The breakfasts are second to none. The kids enjoyed the game room and pool. The staff is friendly and accommodating, especially Breanna at the front desk, who was a great help with our needs!
No complaints at all!

Seating options near the outdoor fire pit could be improved!!! !!! Also, the sound insulation is lacking, making it difficult to relax with noisy neighbors!!!

Oh man, the locally caught fish at Blue Gate Restaurant & Bakery? It’s downright legendary! Plus, the friendly staff treated us like family, and the common areas are so comfy for hanging out with pals. Don't forget about that killer continental breakfast. it gives you just the right amount of fuel to explore Shipshewana!
Now, I won’t sugarcoat it. the hotel is on the pricier side, and we scraped our knees on those long hallways due to the lack of elevators.
